Jesse Chiang Photo Journal bio picture

Life. Expression. Emotion.

I love taking pictures of people and capturing their expressions. I love being able to freeze emotion
into a two dimensional memory. I'd love to hear about your wedding and your plans for remembering that day!

Based in Central New Jersey, open to travel.

YOU WANT THE CAKE TO SAY WHAT…?

Isaac’s first spoonful of something besides milk!
I didn’t know this was a completely made up event so you can imagine how stupid I felt for telling friends that this is something that people actually celebrate…
30+ guests made up of 9 children, 20 something adults, Costco pizza, taquitos, buffalo wings, and an ice cream cake that said ‘Isaac’s First Bite!’
Man, Isaac’s got it made!

May 28, 2009 - 8:12 am Andy - He sure is spoiled...35 people showed up just to see him take his first bite...or maybe it was just an excuse to buy an ice cream cake even though it wasn't anyone's birthday...hehe. nice pics!

June 2, 2009 - 7:44 pm Linda - Wow, I'm jealous, can I have a "Linda's 100th bite of cake" party? Also, these babies have the smoothest skin I've ever seen, they should be baby models!

July 12, 2009 - 9:30 am jennifer - HEY! i love these!! i had no idea these were even up!

July 12, 2009 - 9:31 am jennifer - aww you can tell linda it's your photog skills that make everyone's skin look bb soft!

THUNDERBOLT

A bit overdue…
Andy had his first track day of this season at Thunderbolt Raceway in Millville, NJ early in April. We decided to go down to bring him company along with some Sonic! You can read about it and his other blogs at Trackside Ministries.

Just a few snaps from that day mostly of Andy, but got a few of the other riders too. Also, Yamaha had brought out a bunch of their bikes for demoing including the new R1! Oh how I wish my butt bones could take the beating of sports bikes… instead I must settle for the upright seated, soft cushioned street fighters :OD

May 28, 2009 - 8:19 am Andy - how come my bike looks orange? you should really come next Monday. Howay and i are riding in different groups so one of us will be able to hang out with you the whole time...but can you wake up at 4:00 a.m.?? hahaha...just sleep on the car...you'll be fine. Besides, it's Howay's first track day...he's scared and needs moral support! =) oh yeah, this time i'm going to park closer to the track so you don't have to walk so far to take pictures. --------- ooo it's most likely because of your monitor calibration, and a little bit of the effect i gave to the image. 4AM?! maaan.... which track is it? thunderbolt again? i should just ride behind you on my bike at 4AM so i can have fun riding around the pit haha. -JC

ROSA MEXICANO

Rosa Mexicano in Manhattan (E 18th St. between 5th and Broadway) on Friday night to celebrate Danielle’s birthday. They provided a wide range of delicious Mexican food for a decent dollar; average cost per head was $50 including drinks. Go try their guac and tortilla chips!

DOWN TO BELOW… MY KNEE…

These were the jeans from the shoot with Maria which I ripped wide open while trying to climb onto the first rung of that abandoned train. Needless to say I don’t wear these anymore. :OD
The hiking up of pants is key.

SECOND SUNDAY IN MAY

Happy mother’s day, Ma!
